Up To Joseph all set for the RGOA Members Trophy Race

Lined up for the Grade A1 RGOA Members Trophy Race are, Up To Joseph, Forest Fella, Robs Rolex, Droopys Derek, Bower Gallop and Courts Flyer. The 400 metres flat challenge will be hosted at Romford on 19th December. The prize money set for the race is ?135. Taking off in the red of the first trap will be, Up To Joseph, while breaking to race from the opposite end will be, Courts Flyer.

Even though backed by 11 to 4 odds is the second trap, Forest Fella, the far more accomplished is the two-year-old black and white dog, Up To Joseph. The J. Reynolds trained raced just twice during the previous season which means that the major chunk of his experience came from the current season.

The two-year-old has been through plenty of Grade T events and has been racing at the Grade A level. He is yet to contest in the open races.

His form in the last four outings has been highly impressive, with the first two ending as a second score and the remaining ending in the winner?s enclosure.

Cabra Cool? s son won the Grade A3 Owner?s Bonus Series ? Heat 3 on 5th December, 2012 at Romford over 400 metres.

The second trap was entered as the favourite of the race. He set into an early high pace, and stayed by the rail. Making the most of the opportunity and soon heading on with the lead had him winning the race in 24.38 seconds.

Following in the tracks of the winner was, Izzys Dream, who was left adrift by 4 ? lengths.

The two-year-old out of, Wellytherain, then struck a back-to-back by winning the Grade A3 Owners? Bonus Series Final on 10th December, 2012 at Romford over 400 metres.

Racing in the red jacket, the most popular entry used almost the same pattern as before and made the transit to the other end of the wire in 24.57 seconds.

Coming on terms with the second position was, Bridge Marine, who lost the chance by a staggering 7 ? lengths.

The two-year-old has retained the same trap for the race tonight and avoiding blunders can easily make it through the wire before any of the rest.
