Remains of the Day: Evernote to Roll Out Two-Factor AuthenticationEvernote is accelerating it's two-factor authentication plans, TweetDeck is discontinuing support for its older apps, Oracle rushes out a Java patch, and Opera's new mobile browser is now available.

  • Evernote: We're Adding Two-Factor Authentication After suffering a security breach last week, Evernote has announced that they are accelerating plans to roll out two-factor authentication to all users. The feature was previously unavailable, but once it is, you should definitely enable it. [Information Week]
  • An Update on TweetDeck Yesterday Twitter announced that it will be discontinuing support for TweetDeck AIR, as well as the Android and iPhone versions of the apps. They'll be removed from all online stores in May and will stop working "shortly thereafter." After that, you'll have to shift TweetDeck's Chrome or web apps if you'd like to continue using the app. [TweetDeck]

  • Opera's New Android Beta Is Out, and It Includes Some Pretty Big Changes Today Opera launched the beta version of its new web browser. Completely retooled since its switch to WebKit, the refreshed app includes the ever-more-common combined search/address bar, the ability to sort Speed Dial bookmarks, and curated content discovery.
